Thanks to everyone that sent in a proxy and/or attended our Annual Meeting on Thursday. I want to also thank our 2022 board members for their service! Thank you Drew Mathews and Jim Scaggs!
Quick minutes from the Annual Meeting:
We reviewed and accepted the 2023 budget.
Open board positions were voted on and filled: Lynn Drake, Angela Sanders, and Jason Reisigl will join Amanda Hite and Mary Spillman in serving on the 2023 HOA board. Thank you to our new board members for volunteering your time to serve our community.
The Mortgage on the clubhouse was paid off in 2022!
Discussed Large Expenses from 2022:
Termites and Pine Bark Beetle Infestation in the trees in the common area beside clubhouse - Tree Removal and Termite Treatment of Clubhouse
Plumbing pipes breaking in pool house
New Pool Cover purchased (delayed by supplier - ordered 6 months ago)
Pool Gate and Camera upgrades for the pool
Water leak at Sheltonham Entrance
We have a New Landscaping company/contract for WWN in 2023.
Pool Season will begin on May 19th and will remain open until September 30th. Pool will remain unguarded for the 2023 Pool Season.
Possible Neighborhood Improvements were discussed:
Playground renovation
Sheltonham Dog Station
Blacktop ideas: outdoor fitness area/covered pavilion, pickle ball.
Tennis Court gate is being customized/replaced
landscaping at entrance signs
Rezoning Projects were discussed. Senior Apartments on Mt. Holly Huntersville Road and another Apartment Community across from the Lake Spring Entrance - I will post a photo in the comments of the revised site plan of the proposed building site and entrance for the project near Lake Spring that was revised after the December Zoom Meeting.
