What is 311?

All communities within Mecklenburg County receiving service provided by the County or the City of Charlotte may call 311 regarding that service or to obtain information about other City/County services.

City departments supported include Solid Waste, Storm Water, CMPD, Charlotte Water, Neighborhood & Business Services and Charlotte Department of Transportation. County departments include Park and Recreation, Tax Collection & Assessments, Land Use & Environmental Services and the Sheriff's Office.

Reasons To Call

Animal Control - Unleashed pets / pet owners caught not cleaning up after their pets in public places or on other property / loud disturbing pets.
Drainage or storm water issues - City easements within your yard / street issues
Extinguished street lights
High weeds
Junk in yards
Sidewalk repairs
